Jodhi Warwick-Ponga
Jodhi Warwick-Ponga is a passionate advocate for the empowerment of women in trades, bringing her extensive experience in health, safety, and workforce development to the NZ Women in Roofing board. With a strong background in supporting women in male-dominated industries, Jodhi is committed to fostering environments where women can thrive, grow their careers, and contribute to the industry with confidence.
As the Head of Programmes and Apprenticeships at Vertical Horizonz, Jodhi has actively promoted initiatives aimed at increasing women’s participation in trades, ensuring they have access to high-quality training, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. She is particularly focused on creating inclusive workplaces that support the personal and professional development of women at all levels.
In addition to her work with Vertical Horizonz, Jodhi serves as a trustee for Te Rōpū Marutau o Aotearoa (TRMA), where she contributes to initiatives that improve workplace health and safety. Her leadership at TRMA reinforces her commitment to creating safer, more inclusive environments across various industries.
Through her advisory role, Jodhi aims to inspire and support the next generation of women in roofing, encouraging them to pursue leadership roles and challenge industry norms. Her vision is to create a strong, supportive community of women who uplift each other and shape the future of the roofing industry in New Zealand.
